ECIA National Media Release

For the first time, professionals working in Australia’s childhood disability services sector can access new Guidelines for Best Practice in Early Childhood Intervention.

The Guidelines will equip health professionals and educators to provide the most effective support for any individuals’ child’s needs.

Released by Early Childhood Intervention Australia (ECIA), the guidelines will support service providers as they prepare for the NDIS rollout.

Drawing upon extensive consultation within the sector and government, the guidelines provide a framework for excellence in service delivery.

The guidelines will not only help our members provide high quality services, but also encourage services to be delivered more consistently across Australia. So whether services are in rural, remote or regional areas, families will have access to services that use evidence-based practice.
